Attorneys Phil Hall and Brian Hancock had a busy month out in the community during January. Between presenting the prizes for November’s “Art is Awesome” contest and supporting animal organizations like Pensacola Humane Society and Wildlife Sanctuary of Northwest Florida, our firm has been out and about in Pensacola.

During November’s “Art is Awesome” contest, we asked local elementary school students to draw pictures of ways they can be every day heroes. The winner of November’s contest was Chris. K. of McArthur Elementary. He drew a great picture of emergency services badges against an American flag. Attorney Phil Hall visited Chris in his classroom to deliver his prize and $100 for the school’s art program.

Later in January, Attorney Brian Hancock had the pleasure of visiting Pensacola Humane Society and the Wildlife Sanctuary of Northwest Florida. During his visit with PHS Director Sarah Humlie, Mr. Hancock was given a tour of the facility where he presented a check from our Barktoberfest raffle drawing. He also visited North West Florida Wildlife Sanctuary and presented them with a $500 check from August’s “Art is Awesome” contest. NWFWS does great work in our community fostering, rehabilitating, and caring for orphaned and injured wild animals. It is also the permanent home for several bald eagles and owls. The public can visit the animal sanctuary Wednesday-Saturday between noon and 3:30 PM.
Our firm is dedicated to supporting charitable organizations in our community. Through events like our “Art is Awesome” contest and “Scoops for Charity,” we seek to raise awareness and much-needed funds for non-profits in our area.
